The first heading in a document should be classified as the first heading. Correctly classified headings improve the structure and readability of the document.
Resolving the Document Heading Structure Does Not Start at 1
- In the Accessibility Report for the PDF document, click Launch next to PDF Structural Remediation.
- Locate the element that should be the first heading, and click the More Actions icon.
- Select Edit.
- Use the Type drop-down menu to select the heading 1.
- Click Save.
- Click Save Changes.
