A document without headings makes it challenging for users to navigate or locate specific sections of information.
Resolving the Document Does Not Have Any Headings
To resolve the issue, heading tags should be added to the content to help assistive technologies, such as screen readers to differentiate sections for easier navigation.
- In the Accessibility Report for the PDF document, click Launch next to PDF Structural Remediation.
- Locate a content element that should be tagged as a heading level, and click the More Actions icon.
- Select Edit.
- Select a heading level in the Type field.
Note: If this is the first heading level, select Heading 1. - Click Update to create heading levels for any additional content.
- After adding all the heading levels, click Save Changes.
