As an admin, you can add a list of preset profiles that instructors must choose from when setting up assessments in the Learning Management System (LMS). This will prevent instructors from selecting profiles or configurations that have not been approved by the institution.
Adding a List of Designated Institution-Wide Profiles
Before setting up the designated institution-wide profiles, ensure that you have created institution-wide profiles to add to the list.
- Go to the Verity link located in your LMS course (e.g., Blackboard, Canvas, D2L Brightspace, or Moodle).
- In Verity, hover over the side navbar and click Settings.
- Select Institution Settings from the drop-down menu.
- Scroll down to the Designated Institution-Wide Profiles section, and select Enabled.
- Click the search bar, and select the profiles you want to add.
Note: Only profiles created as Institution-Wide Profiles are available for selection. Learn more how to create an institution-wide profile. - Click Save Changes.
Setting up a list of designated institution-wide profiles will override the default institution-wide profile settings. Learn more about how to create a default institutional profile that automatically applies its settings when instructors set up a proctored assessment.
