How to Take a Proctored Assessment on the Verity Lockdown Mobile App – YuJa Help Center

Students can access their Learning Management System (LMS) from within the Lockdown Mobile app to take their proctored assessments.

Taking a Proctored Assessment

Before proceeding with the steps below, please ensure you have downloaded the app for iOS or Android.

Launch the Verity app.
In the Learning Management System URL text field, enter the URL of your LMS—Blackboard, Canvas, D2L Brightspace, or Moodle.
Select Go.
Log in to your LMS and navigate to your course.
Click on the Verity link in your course to authenticate yourself. Note: If you cannot locate the Verity link, please reach out to your instructor.
After authenticating yourself, navigate to your proctored assessment and begin the assessment.
You will be required to complete the Compatibility Check to ensure your device meets all requirements for your assessment.
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the check. Important: When prompted, iOS users must enable guided access on their iPhone or iPad. Once enabled, please start a guided access session on your device.
Once you see the Complete Setup button, select it to begin your assessment.

End your assessment as you normally would on your LMS—Blackboard, Canvas, D2L Brightspace, or Moodle.
Wait for your assessment to be submitted.
Once you're redirected to the Session Submitted! page, you can select Close and then exit the app.
