The Attendance activity confirms participants' physical presence by having them respond to a question and verifying their location.
Joining an Attendance
- Access Engage through the course in your learning management system (LMS).
Note: If Engage has not been integrated with your LMS, the creator of the attendance will need to provide you with a Join Code, Attendance Link, or QR Code. - In the Active Activities section, click the attendance number of your course.
- The browser will prompt you to share your location. Click Allow. If you were not prompted, and your location is not being shared, please refer to our guide on How to Share Your Location. After you enable location sharing, refresh the page.
Note: If Engage states you are outside the geofence, you will be marked absent. If you believe you are within the geofence, try joining through your mobile device. - Click Check-In.
- Enter your response and click Submit.
