With Camtasia, content creators on Windows can export their recordings to a Software Capture Watch Point folder to automate bulk uploads of content to the Video Platform. This process requires creating a folder with full control access, setting it up as a Watch Point folder, and then exporting content from Camtasia to the folder.

Creating a Folder With Full Control Access
In order for content creators to add content to a designated folder, the Watch Point user needs to set up Full Control permissions to a folder for Everyone who has access to the PC.
- Right-click on the desktop, navigate to New and then select New Folder. Optional: Provide a name to your folder.
- Right-click on the newly created folder and select Properties.
- From the Properties menu, select the Security tab.
- In the Security menu, click Edit.
- Click Add.
- In the Enter the object names to select text box, type in, Everyone.
- Click OK.

In the Group or user names menu, ensure Everyone is selected, and then under Permissions for Everyone, check Allow for the Full Control permissions.
- Click Apply to complete the process.
Creating a Watch Point Folder
Once you've created a folder, you can add it as a Watch Point folder
- Launch Software Capture and sign in.
- Select the Settings buttons.
- Select the Watch Point tab.
- Click Add.
- Click Browse to locate and select the folder you'd like to use as a Watch Point folder, and then click OK.
- Click Find Owner to locate and Select a user on the Video Platform to which content will be uploaded.
- For Destination, click Browse, and choose a location within the selected user's My Media library to upload content to.
- Optional: You can also select multiple channels to upload your recordings to. Simply select Browse for the Channels option, and then select and save your locations.
- Under Extensions to Watch, select the file extensions you'd like the Watch Point folder to detect.

- Finally, click Add to complete the process.
Exporting Camtasia Recordings to Your Watch Point Folder
Once your Watch Point folder is created and has the required permissions, you can export your recordings to the folder.
- Select Export and then select Local File.
- The Export Local File dialog appears. Customize the export options:
- Click Export. All exported videos will now be added to the folder, which will then upload the recordings to your Video Platform instance. Tip: You can manually add videos to the folder to automatically upload your recordings to the Video Platform.
