How to Join an Engage Poll as a Guest

Participants can join polls as guests through their preferred browser or the mobile app without logging in to Engage. 

How to Join as a Guest on Your Browser

Before proceeding with the steps below, please ensure the creator of the poll has provided you with a direct link or QR code.

  1. Click on the link provided by the creator. Optional: You can use your phone to scan the QR code. 
  2. Enter a Name. Note: If the creator has provided a link to their Engage platform instead of the poll, you will need to click JOIN AS A PARTICIPANT and enter a pole code provided by the creator.
  3. Click Join Poll and wait for the creator to begin the poll.

How to Join as a Guest Using the Engage App

Before proceeding with the steps below, please ensure the creator of the poll has provided you with a poll code or a QR Code

  1. Launch the Engage app and select SIGN IN.
    The Welcome to Engage Page shows a button to Sign In.
  2. Enter the name of the institution that is hosting the poll. This might be the name of your college, a business, or a government institution. 
  3. Select Next.
    An institution's name is entered into a text field and a next button is shown.
  4. Select JOIN AS A PARTICIPANT.

  5. You may then join in one of two ways:
    • Enter your name and the poll code provided by the creator.
    • Scan the QR code provided by the creator and enter your name.
  6. Finally, select Join Poll and wait for the creator to begin the poll.
