Admins can customize the Accessibility Scoring Model criteria to set a unique standard of accessibility requirements for their documents and courses.
Customizing the Accessibility Scoring Model
- Log in to Panorama as an admin using your credentials or through your LMS.
- In the side navbar, select Configurations > Scoring Model.
- Click Customize Scoring Model.
- Select a scoring model and then click Next. Learn more about Panorama's Scoring Models.
- For each severity type, move the slider or enter a number between 0 and 100 to represent its weight value, and then click Next.

Choose which accessibility checks to enable. Users can use preset standards or customize which checks to enable.
To use present standards:
- In the What standards should we use to run accessibility checks? box, choose one of three possible options:
- Essentials (WCAG Requirements Only)
- Recommended (WCAG + Core Best Practices)
- Comprehensive (WCAG + All Best Practices)
To customize which checks to enable:
- Click through the WCAG-Aligned Issues and Accessibility Best Practices tabs to select your desired accessibility checks.
- For each issue, select a severity level using the drop-down menu.
- Repeat the above two steps for each file type.
- In the What standards should we use to run accessibility checks? box, choose one of three possible options:
- Click Next.
- In the Minimum Font Size drop-down menu, select a font size.
- In the Alt Test Character Limit field, enter a number, and then click Next.
- Review the Accessibility Scoring Modal criteria. To make changes, click Previous. To confirm changes, click Confirm.
- Reprocess existing documents or courses to apply the newly customized scoring model. New files or courses will be processed using the newly customized scoring model.
