When you request your data extract from the Mediasite server, please allow 2-3 weeks to fully transfer all of the data from the local server to the YuJa S3 bucket. Below is some important information that your Mediasite extract will need to include.
Mediasite Migration Checklist
The items below should be fully confirmed by your Customer Success Manager before starting the Professional Services Agreement.
|Full S3 extra of Mediasite data
Confirm that the full extra of data can be exported to an S3 bucket established by YuJa.
Extract includes the “Mediasite Presentation XML” for each lecture.
An XML containing metadata. The appropriate metadata (summary in Table 1) is included with each video lecture.
Extract includes a complete “Content” folder for each lecture that contains all video files and video images.
For multi-stream videos, Mediasite provides one MP4 file for the video capture and a series of JPGs or PNGs that summarize the screen capture. The YuJa script will merge the image files into a video stream during the migration.
Extract includes Captions
|A CSV containing metadata that includes, at a minimum, the attributes outlined in Table 1.

Caption files should be included in the same XML file summarizing all of the video's metadata.

Below are the minimum required metadata fields that Mediasite needs to provide.
