The YuJa LMS Content Designer lets you create templates where you can save your designs to reuse in other areas of your LMS.
Creating a Template
You can save your current content layout and elements as a template to reuse later. Before saving the existing content as a template, make sure you have the content ready in the WYSIWYG editor or any HTML-editable area in your LMS.
- Log in to your LMS.
- Locate the content in the WYSIWYG editor or any HTML-editable area that you want to save as a template.
- Make sure you're inside the content editor, then click the LMS Content Designer icon.
- Inside the LMS Content Designer, click Template > Create Template.
- Enter a Template Name, then choose a Publish Location:
- Institution: Your template will be available to everyone in the institution.
- Course: Your template will be available to everyone in the course.
- For Myself: Your template will only be available to you.
- Click Create to save the template.
- (Optional) To view or apply your template, select the Template tab in the LMS Content Designer, then select the template tab based on your publish location selected: Institution Templates, Course Templates, or My Templates.

Locate your template, click the kebab menu, then apply the desired actions:
- Insert: Add the template into an editable HTML area.
- Preview: View the template.
- Delete: Permanently remove the template.
