Assigning Live Captioning Permissions

Admins can assign live captioning permissions on a per-user or role-based system, enabling users to request auto-captions during live sessions.

Assigning Live Captioning Permissions

  1. Log in to the Video Platform as an admin and select Admin Panel from the Main Menu icon.
  2. Select the Accessibility tab from the side navigation menu.

  3. Click Live-Caption Access.

  4. Under Add Permission, select Role Based or User Based to add permission to specific role or users.
  5. Select the role or user in the drop down menu and click Add Permission.
  6. After adding all roles and users, click Save.
