When you request your data extract from Panopto, please allow 3-4 weeks to receive the extract. The extract is provided to the client in the form of access to an AWS S3 bucket. Below is some important information that your Panopto extract will need to include.
Panopto Migration Checklist
The items below should be fully confirmed by your Customer Success Manager before starting the Professional Services Agreement.

Confirm with Panopto that a full extract of your content is included in the provided S3 extract. |
Extract Includes Edited Videos | Confirm that the Panopto export contains the edited versions of the lecture - for both single and multi-stream videos. |
Extract Includes Quiz Metadata File |
Confirm that the export contains the ucs.xml file to map the quizzes. |
Extract Includes CSV Metadata |
A CSV containing metadata that includes, at a minimum, the attributes outlined in Table 1. |
Extract Includes Captions |
Caption files should be associated with their respective videos in an SRT, VTT, or XML format. |
Extract Includes PowerPoint |
Confirm that the export contains any related attachments, such as PowerPoint files, associated with videos. |
