The Zoom LTI Pro application connects Zoom with Canvas, Blackboard, D2L Brightspace, and Moodle so that recordings can be initiated and uploaded to the LMS course. After the successful integration of Zoom with an LMS, the Video Platform offers Zoom LTI Pro admins the option to permit the uploading of recorded content to the corresponding course on the Video Platform. To learn how to enable this feature, please follow the steps below.
Enabling Tracking Field
A Tracking field is required to ensure Zoom recordings are imported to the associated course on the Video Platform. Before enabling the Tracking Field option, please ensure you have integrated Zoom LTI Pro 1.3 with your LMS: Blackboard, Canvas, D2L Brightspace, or Moodle.
- Log in to your Zoom web app account as an admin.
- From the top navigation bar, click Solutions and then select Marketplace.
- In the search bar, search for LTI Pro.
- Click Add.
- Click Allow to install the LTI Pro app.
- Once installed, navigate back to the LTI Pro app page, and click Manage, located on the left side.
- Click Configure.
- Select Edit for your integrated LMS.
- Scroll down and enable Tracking Field.
Add a Tracking Field
Once you've enabled the Tracking Field option, you can proceed to add a tracking field.
- Log in to your Zoom web app account as an admin.
- From the left-side navigation menu, click Account Management and then select Scheduling Tracking Fields.
- Click Add Tracking Field.
- In Specify a level for this field, enter the name of your LMS followed by _folder_context.
- Blackboard: blackboard_folder_context
- Canvas: canvas_folder_context
- D2L Brightspace: d2l_folder_context
- Moodle: moodle_folder_context
- Next, click Save to complete the process. Once Zoom recordings are uploaded to the LMS course, they will automatically be uploaded to the associated Video Platform course.
