A language should be set in the document, as it improves the accessibility of the document when used in conjunction with tools such as screen readers. See More Information on the WCAG Guideline: 3.1.1 Language of Page.
The Document Does Not Have the Correct Language Set
Microsoft Office 365:
- Press Ctrl+A on your keyboard to select all text within the document.
- In the Review tab, navigate to the Language section and click Set Proofing Language.
- Select the desired language and click Default to set it as the default language for future documents.
For LibreOffice:
- Select Tools > Options.

Go to Language Settings > Languages.

In the section labeled Default Languages for Documents, select the desired language.

Once you’re finished, click Apply, then click OK.
