Users can set the visibility settings for the Software Capture for PC application Recording Toolbar through the Application Settings window or from the Recording Toolbar directly.
Modifying the Recording Toolbar Settings from Application Settings
The Application Settings menu allows Users to configure the visibility of the recording toolbar.
- Open the Windows System Tray.
- Right-click on the Software Capture application and select Settings. Note: If the Software Capture application does not appear in the System Tray, please launch the application and then close it.
- Select the Configuration tab.
- Within the Recording Toolbar section, select one of the following options:
- Always show when logged in
- Only show when recording
- Always hide
- You can also check Show audio in Recording Toolbar if desired.
- Once done, click Save to apply the changes.
Show Recording Toolbar in Recordings
You can have the Recording Toolbar appear in your recorded or live-streamed sessions for viewers to see.
- Launch the Software Capture application.
- Click the Gear icon to access Application Settings.
- Select the Advanced tab.
- Click Run as Admin and wait for the Software Capture application to restart.
- Once the application reopens, navigate back to the Advanced tab in the Application Settings.
- Under Advanced Options, check Show Recording Toolbar in the recording.
- Click Save.
Configuring the Recording Toolbar While Recording
You can also access the Recording Toolbar settings directly from the Recording Toolbar itself.
