A language should be set in the document, as it improves the accessibility of the document when used in conjunction with tools such as screen readers. Please note that there are two ways to resolve Language Set issues for PDFs. If you have exported your PDF from another file format, it’s best to resolve the issue in the original format before exporting it. You can also resolve the accessibility issues directly in the PDF file using Adobe Acrobat Pro.
The Document Does Not Have a Language Set
- For Adobe Acrobat Pro users, click File at the top of your screen, then select Properties.
- Click the Advanced tab, then navigate to the Language section in the Reading Options panel.
- From the drop-down menu, select the desired language.
- Then click OK.
