When inserting a hyperlink into a document, having a description for the link is necessary to provide enough information on the content residing inside the link.
The Hyperlink Text Is Identical to the Hyperlink URL
- For Microsoft Office 365 users, highlight the link.
- In the floating toolbar above the highlighted link, click Edit Link. Alternatively, you could edit the link in the Ribbon at the top of the screen.
- Next to Text to display, provide a description of the content inside the hyperlink URL.
