The Hyperlink Text Is Identical to the Hyperlink URL

When inserting a hyperlink into a document, having a description for the link is necessary to provide information about the content residing within the link.

  1. For Microsoft Office 365 users, right-click the hyperlink.

  2. Click on Edit Hyperlink.
    A hyperlink has been right-clicked and the Edit Hyperlink... setting is highlighted.

  3. Modify the field Text to display by providing a description of the content inside the URL.
    The Edit Hyperlink window is open and the text field for Text to display is highlighted along with a description of the content inside of the hyperlink.
