Panorama admins can map their D2L Brightspace custom roles to their Panorama roles. These roles determine the Panorama access level for each user.
Configuring Custom Role Mapping
When custom roles are enabled, the default roles are disabled. Changes may take up to 24 hours to be reflected.
- Log in to your LMS and access Panorama.
- In the side navbar, select Configuration > General Settings.
- Select the Institution Settings tab.
- In the Custom API Role Mapping section, select Custom Roles.
- Select the Panorama Role for which you want to map a custom role.
- Enter the custom role name exactly how it appears in your D2L Brightspace Role List.
- Click Add. Panorama will now recognize the custom role as one of the Panorama roles selected (i.e. Administrator, Instructor, or Student).
- Repeat steps 4 to 6 for any additional roles.
- Click Save Changes.
